Elementary and middle school students lined the road into the school with signs and cheers for the Lady Marshals whose bus was led up to the school with a police escort.

From the moment they arrived to the moment they left, the Lady Marshals were met with open arms. Washington County set aside the admission charge and collected donations at the door as well as a silent auction and raised $7,000 for Marshall County shooting victims.

Following a 28-24 JV win, the varsity teams took the floor in a gym full of the Marshall County colors, instead of the red and blue of Washington County.
