Friday evenings Hoopfest session featured five games starting with fan favorite Oak Hill Academy, VA against Hamilton Heights Christian, TN. Once again, Oak Hill Academy is loaded with talented players led by Kentucky commit Keldon Johnson who ended the game with 16 points and seven rebounds.
Oak Hill won 84-63 led by Florida commit Keyontae Johnson with 24 points, earning the senior MVP honors. David McCormick who has committed to Kansas, scored 20 for the Warriors and led with eight rebounds. Hamilton Heights had four players in double figures led by 7’1″ Cleveland State commit, Uros Plavsic, with 16 points and eight rebounds.

Findley Prep’s Conner Vanover, a Memphis commit added 12 points to the win. Michigan commit, Ignas Brazdeikis, led Orangeville Prep with 28 points and 12 rebounds.
Findley Prep led 33-22 at halftime, then ran away from Orangeville Prep in the third quarter, out-scoring them 23-11, for a 56-33 lead.

Madut Akec led Victory Rock with 26 points and also had a good night at the line making 15 of 17 attempts. Hillcrest Prep sophomore, Jeron Artest, son of former NBA player Metta World Peace, scored five points.
