
Glenda Cunningham Fields, 83, of Benton passed away Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at her home. She was a retired social worker for the State of KY Department of Families and Children.
She is survived by one son, Mike Fields and wife Gloria of Benton; one daughter, Lana Jeter and husband Randy of Draffenville; half-sister, Cheryl Vaughn and husband Bobby of Paducah; half-brother, David Cunningham and wife Vickie also of Paducah. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Shaun Holland of Draffenville, Andrea Sikes of Hendersonville, Tenn., Lindsey Briggs of Draffenville, Stephanie Donohoo of Benton, Clint Holland of Gilbertsville, Kristen Petersen of Clarksville, Tenn.; step-grandchildren, Chris Jeter of Calvert City and Brittany Jeter of Benton, and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. (Bill) Fields. She was also preceded in death by her father, Cleon Cunningham and stepmother, Evon Cunningham Knight and by her mother, Lauretta Carter.
She was a member of the Oak Valley Church of Christ.
Funeral service for Glenda will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home, Benton; David Hendrickson officiating. Burial will follow at Benton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 3, 2017, from noon until the funeral hour at Collier Funeral Home.
