Marshall County Sheriff’s report, Nov. 6, 2017:
On Nov. 6, Det. Captain Matt Hilbrecht served a bond revocation. Stephanie J. Beale of Gilbertsville was arrested on the bond revocation on the original charge of Wanton Endangerment 2nd Degree out of Calloway County.
On Nov. 5 Sgt. Jason Lane was dispatched to assist two McCracken County Deputies with a vehicle on the side of I-24 just inside Marshall County. As a result of the investigation, Jordan Lamonte Neal of Clarksville, TN was arrested and charged with Alcohol Intoxication in a Public Place and Possession of Open Alcoholic Beverage Container in Motor Vehicle. Neal was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
On Nov. 4, Tammy R. Whittington of Calvert City was served a summons from the Marshall Circuit Court by Deputy William Strader on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Methamphetamine), Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree (Drug Unspecified), Drug Paraphernalia Buy / Possess, Possession of Marijuana, Hindering Prosecution or Apprehension 2nd Degree.
On Nov. 4, Deputy Chris Greenfield was dispatched to the Draffenville area in reference to a possibly intoxicated driver. Greenfield located the vehicle. As a result, Russell McLeod of Gilbertsville was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle U/Influence Alc/Drugs/Etc.
On Nov. 3 at approximately 10:28 p.m., Sgt. Jason Lane responded to Olive Creek Road in reference to a traffic crash. As a result of the investigation, Harold J. Pritchett of Benton was arrested and charged with the following: Operating a Motor Vehicle U/ Influence Alc/Drugs/Etc .08 1st Offense, Failure to Produce Insurance Card, Failure of Non Owner to Maintain Insurance and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree.
On Nov. 3, an investigation by Det. Capt. Matt Hilbrecht into a September burglary concluded resulting in four being charged. On Oct. 11, James Treaven Harrell of Murray was arrested by Hilbrecht and charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft by Unlawful Taking. On Oct. 21, Lisa Ann Peake of Benton was arrested on a warrant taken by Hilbrecht and served by Calloway County Sheriff’s Office. The charges on this warrant were Burglary 2nd Degree and theft by Unlawful Taking. On Nov. 3, two additional arrests were made in Mayfield by the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, serving warrants taken by Hilbrecht. Charles Kevin Chambers of Hazel and Tara Dawn Chambers of Murray were charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft by Unlawful Taking. The investigation resulted from a burglary at a residence owned by Ray Nanney on Aurora Highway near Hardin.
On Nov. 3, Sgt. Jason Lane served an arrest warrant. Daniel P. Odom of Benton was served the Marshall Circuit warrant for Failure to Appear.
On Nov. 3, Deputy Luke Rudd was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle on Slaughter Road. According to a citation filed by Rudd, the vehicle was off of the roadway in a treeline, on an old trail. The vehicle did not appear to be wrecked and appeared to have been purposefully put there. A male was found asleep in the driver’s seat. Further investigation resulted in charges on the male, identified as Paul S. Kissiar of Benton, for Possession of Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia – Buy / Possess and License to be in Possession. He was cited and released.
On Oct. 31, Deputy Chris Glenn investigated a burglary on Benton Briensburg Road. William T. Mardis of Benton reported the burglary and theft of firearms. Anyone with information can contact Glenn at 270-527-3112 or call Marshall County Crimestoppers at 270-527-COPS and remain anonymous.
On Oct. 20, Det. Capt. Matt Hilbrecht conducted an investigation that resulted in charges on a Marshall County Juvenile. Deputy Jason Ivey recovered a stolen pistol linked to a burglary in McCracken County. The investigation is continuing by Hilbrecht, Ivey and McCracken County Det. Benny Kaufman. The juvenile was also charged by Hilbrecht with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, and Prescription Drug Not in Original Container.
