Marshall County Youth Football concludes season with championship games

Saturday’s Marshall County Youth Football Championships was capped off with the 5th and 6th grade championship game.

Marshall County Youth League Football hosted its first annual County Championship Saturday evening under the lights at Carroll Traylor Stadium.  Championship games were played in three age divisions.

Plenty of action from the 1st and 2nd grade championship game.

The 1st-2nd grade division game final score was White Team 21, Blue Team 6. In the 3rd-4th grade division game, the Orange Team beat the White Team 12-8 and in the 5th-6th grade championship which capped off the night, the Grey Team beat the Orange Team 8-6.

The game was played with all the perks that MCHS players get on Friday nights with pre-game player introductions, fireworks and in-game public address announcing by the voice of the Marshals Jeff Waters.

We would like to thank our coordinators Shane Robinson and Steve Nix and the many volunteers for taking the time to put together such an awesome event for our young guys.  We are looking forward to this being an annual event to wind down our youth league season each year.
