The Marshall County Rescue Squad will begin its annual fall family photo fundraiser campaign Monday, Oct. 16.
Squad members will go door-to-door throughout the county and offer to take family photos for a donation to the squad. Photographers will always have proper identification with Rescue Squad affiliation clear.
The Rescue Squad is not a taxed-based entity in county. Operating funds come from public and business donations, as well as some fiscal court contributions. The squad is responsible for all of its own expenses, including gas, utilities and maintenance.
Those hoping to contribute to the squad’s fall family photo fundraiser but are missed by photographers at home may call Chief Kurt Schmidt at 270-210-2798 to schedule an appointment. For more information about the Rescue Squad, follow the volunteer organization on Facebook.
