The fourth annual Progressive Dinner, a fundraiser for the Benton Partnership and Marshall County Arts Commission that allows participants to stop at several locations throughout the city to enjoy a variety of foods and entertainment, is set to begin at 5:30 p.m. tomorrow in Benton.
The evening will kick off with appetizers at the Children’s Art Center at 1202 Elm St., provided by Harbor Lights Restaurant. Entertainment comes courtesy of Shannon Cathey.
Participants will move on at 6 p.m. to Puckett’s Jewelry at 1012 Main St. for the second course of the evening, a soup and salad courtesy of Ponderosa. Entertainment will be provided by Jeffrey Wayne Dowdy.
Dinner guests will at 6:30 p.m. visit Benton City Hall at 1009 Main St. Participants can enjoy and entree and side provided by Larry Whitt and take in the Clarks River Animal Showcase.
Guests move on at 7 p.m. for a second entree and side stop at Sydney’s Gifts and Florist at 1504 Main St. Dinner selection is courtesy of Bad Bob’s BBQ. A Capella entertainment will be provided.
The evening will conclude with a final stop at 7:30 p.m. back at the Children’s Art Center, for a little sweet treat. Dessert will be provided by Sweet CeCe’s, and entertainment comes courtesy of local group Heart and Soul.
Tickets are $50 each, and proceeds go to benefit programs hosted by the Benton Partnership and the Marshall County Arts Commission. Tickets are available at Benton City Hall and the Children’s Art Center through the close of business today.
