A St. Louis man drowned in Kentucky Lake Saturday after officials say he fell from a boat near Kentucky Dam.
According to the Marshall County Rescue Squad, responders were initially paged to a rescue attempt though that effort was soon transitioned into a recovery effort. The squad confirms the victim, whose name has not been released pending notification of next of kin, was a 57-year-old man from St. Louis.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Marshall County EMS, Kentucky State Park rangers, Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife, Gilbertsville Fire Department, East Marshall Fire Department and the Marshall County Coroners Office responded on scene.
