Hardin woman facing escape, public intoxication charges

A Hardin woman is facing charges after police say she entered someone else’s home while intoxicated.

According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded Sunday to Karen Faye Lane in Hardin to a report that a woman unknown to the homeowner had come into her home and was becoming combatative. The alleged perpetrator, identified by police as Stacy L. Clark, 41, of Hardin, came outside of the home; upon further investigation, police determined Clark was allegedly under the influence.

Clark was taken into custody at the scene, where upon police say she began kicking the windows of the police cruiser in an attempt to escape.

Clark was charged on suspicion of public intoxication, second-degree disorderly conduct and third-degree escape.
