Mrs. Dwanna Wyatt Stafford, 61, of Benton, died on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, at her home. She attended Zion’s Cause Baptist Church, and was employed by the Marshall County Board of Education where she served the school system for 20 years. She was affectionately known as “Ms. D.”
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, James Randy Stafford of Benton; daughter, Jennifer (Stafford) Coleman, husband Ryan of Columbus, Ohio; mother, Wanda Kathleen (Rose) Wyatt of Benton; sister, Deana (Wyatt) Burkeen, husband Tim of Mayfield; and grandchild, Avery Coleman.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rho-Dean “Cotton” Wyatt.
A Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Dr. Charles Frazier officiating.
Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery in the Land Between the Lakes.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, at Collier Funeral Home.
