PSAT date announced for juniors, sophomores

Local high school students will have the opportunity to take this year’s PSAT exam this fall.

The PSAT will be administered from 8:15-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 at Marshall County High School. The test, which serves as the entry exam into the National Merit Scholarship Program, is only administered once a year. The test is available to home school and current students at MCHS; juniors may take the exam for entrance into the National Merit Scholarship Program or as a practice test for the SAT. The exam is also available to sophomore students as a practice test.

Exam cost is $17, and students must register by Sept. 21. Registration may be completed in Jennifer Burnham’s office in the guidance department at MCHS.
