The Benton Partnership hosted its first-ever Farm to Fork dinner Saturday on the court square in Benton. The event showcased foods provided by local growers, with dishes prepared by the Marshall County High School culinary arts class and served by FFA students. The Sullivan Three played for guests during the event, and local producers set up to offer goods for purchase.
More than 160 residents turned out for the event. Proceeds went to the Benton Partnership for its projects, with percentages contributed to FFA students for their efforts. The dinner featured all fresh, local foods.
