Marshall County’s 2017-2018 Dance Team participated in the UDA (Universal Dance Association) camp at the University of Kentucky July 23-26. Over 25 teams were represented with 392 dancers.
Then team won several awards at camp including a Spirit Stick each night and Drill Down individual ribbons and on the final day, received a Superior.
Sophomore, Abby Strait, auditioned and was selected to the ALL AMERICAN team. The All Americans are invited to London to participate in the New Year’s Day parade.
Sophomore, Kaycee Kemp, was given a “Pin it Forward” award (13 selected) for exhibiting showmanship, leadership, and giving 110%.
