Kentucky State Police arrested a Corrections Officer following the discovery of drugs at the West Kentucky Correctional Complex in Lyon County. On Sunday, July 23, at 6:30 a.m., KSP received a call from West Kentucky Correctional Complex, requesting a trooper for an employee believed to have brought drugs into the facility.
Trooper Aaron Acree responded, seized a large quantity of Suboxone, and arrested Danny L. Ford, 49, of Dawson Springs. Ford was charged with First Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance and First Degree Promoting Contraband, and was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
