Marshall County Sheriff’s report: July 24, 2017:
Deputy Dennis Lewis served an arrest warrant July 21 on Falcon Circle. Mark D. Baize age 51 of Marion was arrested on a Muhlenberg County Circuit warrant for failure to appear on charges of Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st off < 2GMS Methamphetamine and Persistent Felony Offender. He was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
Deputy Josh Anderson was dispatched Saturday, July 22 to a disturbance on Blades Lane in Gilbertsville. According to a citation filed by Anderson, upon arrival he observed a man identified as Thomas A. Hauenstien, 37, of Gilbertsville, manifestly under the influence. He was arrested for public intoxication and lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
Deputy Chris Greenfield conducted a traffic stop July 22 after observing a vehicle on Gilbertsville Highway with expired registration. Further investigation revealed further traffic violations and an arrest warrant. Jessena Henson, 35, of Gilbertsville was arrested and charged with the following: Failure of owner to maintain insurance; license to be in Possession; failure to register transfer of motor vehicle; no registration receipt; no registration plates; Marshall District warrant – failure to appear; Marshall District summons – theft of services (Calvert City Police Department case).
Deputy Chris Greenfield was dispatched at 4:40 p.m. July 23 to a single vehicle crash on Calvert City Circle in Possum Trot. As a result of the investigation, Brandon Beverly age 23 of Marion was arrested and charged with DUI 2nd Offense and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. He was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
Detective Jeff Daniel served an arrest warrant July 24 based on an investigation he had completed. The warrant charged Allan M. Stewart, 41, of Benton with receiving stolen property U/$10,000. The investigation stems from an investigation into stolen collector coins, cash, and jewelry. The investigation revealed that Stewart had locally pawned the stolen items.
Deputy Cory Curtner and Detective Jeff Daniel investigated a theft July 24 from a vehicle on Wadesboro Road. Joseph Benrock reports the theft. The investigation is continuing.
