(KYTC) – After being held up by June rainfall, crews have started mowing and picking up litter removal along Kentucky state highways.
Mowing zones will be marked, and should be treated with the same caution as any other work zone.
Slow down and watch for slow-moving tractors and support vehicles that may be traveling into and across travel lanes.
Contractors will be working along area interstates, parkways, and highways.
State crews are mowing along rural secondary highways in many Western Kentucky counties.
The mowing and litter removal work should continue for about the next month.
