Sandra “ Sandy” Lea Graves, age 38, passed away Monday, June 26, 2017 . She was born April 13, 1979 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Mark and Sanya Johnson Smith. Sandy was a resident of DeFuniak Springs. She was currently employed as a waitress at Beef O’ Brady’s Restaurant in DeFuniak Springs. She was a loving mother, an avid reader, and she loved going to the beach. She was also very active, in the Ponce De Leon Youth Sporting events. Sandy was preceded in death by her father.
Sandy is survived by her mother Sanya Smith of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; the father of her children, Cory Graves of Westville, Florida; one son, Cory Graves, Jr., of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; two daughters, Hali and Caitlyn Graves both of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; one brother, Brad Smith of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; one sister Ashley Gaines of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida; paternal grandmother June Whitson; and Aunts Sherie Baxter and husband Andy, Sondra Johnson and Anita Burton; and Uncle Larry Smith. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home Chapel; 230 Park Avenue, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
