Marshall County Sheriff’s Report June 5, 2017

On June 2 Deputy Dan Melone investigated an injury crash on US 641 near Draffenville. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Autumn R. West of Calvert City was traveling west on KY 1422 approaching the intersection of US 641. A vehicle driven by James A. Shelburn of Benton was northbound on US 641. West ran the stop sign and crossed into the path of the Shelburn vehicle. Marshall County EMS transported the injured to Marshall County Hospital.

Deputy Luke Rudd and Sgt. Jason Lane served multiple warrants at 10:43 p.m. June 2 on Oasis Road. According to the citation filed by Rudd, Brent A Johnson, 31, of Benton, was taken into custody on warrants. The first was for Failure to Appear in Marshall County. The second was Failure to Appear in Marshall County on charges of Alcohol Intoxication and Fleeing / Evading Police and the third is Probation Violation for Felony Offense. The original charge was Manufacturing Methamphetamine.
