
The Kentucky Department of State Parks is requesting information for the development of a new campground at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park in western Kentucky.
The department is seeking information from private developers to build and operate a campground on a 150-acre section of land known as Gobbler’s Knob. The information received may be used to develop a request for proposals for the project.
The public-private partnership campground would include improved sites with electric and water as well as primitive sites, wifi access, bathhouses and playgrounds.

Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park in Calvert City has a lodge, cottages, campground, restaurant, 18-hole golf course, marina, gift shop and many other recreational opportunities.
