On Friday, May 19, the Marshall County High School Class of 2017 will be partnering with CFSB to express their gratitude to the community. The seniors will be volunteering at around twenty local organizations, such as Kentucky Dam, Marcella’s Kitchen, and the Marshall County Exceptional School. To celebrate this day of service, CFSB will be hosting a free community cookout from 11-1 p.m. at the Benton location. Donations made will benefit CASA, Marshall County Humane Society, Marshall County Exceptional School and Marshall County Relay for Life. An adoption drive by the Marshall County Humane Society will also take place at this time to showcase the sweet animals in need of a home. We invite you to join us in giving back with a day full of food, fun, and fellowship! Press Release by Shelton Owen, Reporter – Student Council.
