Mrs. Reva N. Hamlett, age 75, of Benton, KY died on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. Born Wednesday, December 10, 1941 in Marshall County, KY, she was a secretary for West Marshall Water District. She was also a member of New Harmony Baptist Church where she served as secretary for 35 years and played the piano for 40 years.
Mrs. Hameltt is survived by her husband Gerald Hamlett of Benton, KY, two sons, Allan Hamlett and his wife Gela of Benton, KY and Neal Hamlett and his wife Kelly of Tampa, FL, sister, Cathy Perrin of Calhoun, KY, seven grandchildren, Austin Hamlett, Amanda Carr, Emily Hamett, Ira Watkins, Chelsea Beyer, Dylon Hamlett and BriAnna Hamlett, three great-grandchildren, Easton Beyer, Owen Carr and Will Carr, niece, Julie Waldrip of Benton, KY and nephew, Drew Perrin of Calhoun, KY.
Mrs. Hamlett was preceded in death by her sister Norma Jean Newton. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Margie Jane (Sheppard) Henson.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 10, 2017 in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, with Rev. Joe Daryl Thorn and Rev. Roger Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home.
