Mr. Houston Dale Smith, age 81 of Benton, KY died on Friday, April 7, 2017, at his home. He was a self-employed farmer and trader and was a member of Benton First United Methodist Church.
Born Monday, November 4, 1935, he was the son of the late Verlie Green Smith and the late Opal (Burd) Smith.
Surviving are his wife, Delores (Krzyzewski) Smith of Benton, KY; sons, Ronald Smith, wife Sheila of Benton, KY, Mark Smith, wife Mitzi of Benton, KY and Todd Miller, wife Alison of Houston, TX, daughter, Amy Rolle of South Lake, TX, grandchildren, Lauren Nash, Kyle Parrish, Rachael Smith, Rebekah Smith, Jasmine Rolle, Raven Rolle, Roman Rolle, Alex Miller, Cora Miller, Jack Miller, and great grandchildren, Isaac Smith and Claire Nash.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Collier Funeral Chapel Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Joe Daryl Thorn and Dr. David Russell officiating.
Interment will follow in the Benton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home.
