Robert Bennett Borton, age 97, of Lake Worth, FL formerly of Benton, KY, died Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at his residence. He was a member of Maple Springs United Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and American Legion. He was a WWII Coast Guard Veteran. Mr. Borton Retired from Midwest Dairy in Paducah and Kentucky Dam State Park.
He issurvived by Three Sons: Bill Borton and wife Becky of Benton, KY, Robert “Bob” Borton, Jr. and wife Donna of Witt, IL, Brad Borton and wife Corrine, Bridgeton, NJ; One Brother: Gail Borton, Jr. of Champaign, IL; Five Grandchildren: Robert Borton, III, Deanna Incremona, Courtney Ament, Brad Borton, Jr. and Brent Borton and Five Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Dorothy L (Carlock) Borton; his parents: Gail and Pearl Bennett Borton, Sr. and Two Sisters.
Graveside Funeral service will be at Maple Springs Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 8, 2017, Rev. David Garrett officiating. Interment will be at Maple Springs Cemetery, Benton, KY. No visitation is scheduled. Collier Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
