Mrs. Dola Pearl Gammons, age 75 of Benton, KY died on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at
Baptist Health in Paducah, KY. She was worked for Patti’s 1880’s Settlement in Grand
Rivers, KY and was a member of Twin Lakes Worship Center.
Born Sunday, March 23, 1941 in Calvert City, KY, she was the daughter of the late
Earl Russell and the late Pearlie (Stalculp) Russell.
Surviving are her husband, Charlie E. Gammons of Benton, KY, sons, Dennis Mason of
Mayfield, KY, Darrell Mason of Calvert City, KY and Doyle William Mason, Jr. of
Benton, KY, daughter, Doris Bledsoe of Benton, KY, sister, Betty Lou Clemons of
Sharpe, KY, 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Doyle William Mason, Sr., 2
brothers, C. W. Russell and Billy Russell and 1 sister, Louise Wells.
A Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Collier
Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Jeremy Short
officiating.
Interment will follow in Dees Cemetery, Calvert City, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday,
March 17, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home.
