Mr. Ronald Cage “Butch” Lucas, age 73, went home to his holy father on March 13, 2017. Originally from Benton, Kentucky, he was of the Methodist faith. Ron had resided in Paducah for several years.
He is survived by his niece, Lisa Wells and nephew, Lucy Noles both of Paducah, KY, and his partner of 52 years, Charles Gillian of Paducah, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Molene Lucas and two sisters, Betty Coleman and Hannah Noles.
There will be a memorial service at a later date. Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home and Crematory is handling the arrangements.
Memorials may take the form of donations to the Marshall County Humane Society, 6301 US-68, Benton, KY 42025. Ron was a founding member of the first humane society of Marshall County or the School for Exceptional Children, 198 Old Symsonia Rd, Benton, KY 42025.
