The McCracken County Sheriff’s office was contacted about a possible scam. An owner of rental property in the county stated that she saw one of her rental properties on Craig’s List for a much cheaper rate than what she had advertised on Zillow and VCI Classifieds. The add also requested that inquiries were to fill out a form if interested in the rental property. The property owner was concerned that it may be
someone who is trying to get personal information to steal a person’s identity.
