On January 12th a robbery occurred at the Dollar Store in Sharpe.
Through the investigation it was learned that a man was in custody in Kansas on similar charges and met the description of the perpetrator in Marshall County.
Detective Jeff Daniel continued the investigation and connected the suspect in Kansas with our robbery.
A warrant was obtained for the arrest of Jacob Perry age 35 of Decatur, Alabama, charging him with Robbery 1st Degree in the incident.
The green pick up originally believed to have been involved was shown to have not been involved.
As the suspect had committed acts in various states it is possible that he may be charged federally.
