This morning at about 6:26, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office reported to a crash on the Purchase Parkway just south of Calvert City. Although there was no injury reported, the parkway was blocked for sometime as the scene was cleared. Luis S. Chavez-Alvarado of Wyoming Michigan was northbound on the Parkway in the construction zone. a deer ran into the path of the tractor trailer. Chavez-Alvarado swerved to miss the deer and ran into the median. The crash was investigated by Deputy Steven Oakley.
