BENTON – Newly elected Benton City Council members Justin Lamb and Chris Smithmier were sworn into office December 29th by Judge Jack Telle in front of a full house in the council meeting room.

The new council members will join sitting members in their first meeting of 2017 on January 17th at 5:00.
