UPDATE: Marshall County Judge-Executive Kevin Neal has been released from the hospital and is resting comfortably at home.
Marshall County Judge-Executive Kevin Neal is in stable condition after suffering a health scare late Wednesday night.
According to the Judge-Executive’s Office, Judge Neal was experiencing severe pains in his abdomen and chest area when he went to the emergency room at a Paducah hospital.
It was from there that Judge Neal was transferred to a Louisville hospital, where he is still currently at, for a blood clot in a vein that carries blood to vital areas such as the small intestine.
The treatment of the clot is ongoing at the time of this release and the Judge’s Office would like to squash any rumors of an aneurysm or heart attack.
As of the latest update, Judge Neal was responsive and reacting well to the treatment.
