BENTON, KY – The Marshall County Public Library collected 461 pairs of underwear for the Marshall County Resource Centers during the month of November as part of the Drop Your Draws campaign.
“We are so thankful for our patrons who donated on behalf of this campaign,” says Kristi Tucker, Director of the Marshall County Public Library. “We’re proud to be a part of a community that always comes together to help those in need.”
Fifty-four libraries across the Commonwealth will be participated in the campaign, allowing patrons to drop off new, unopened packs of underwear that will be distributed to their local Family Resource Centers. The underwear collected by the Marshall County Public Library will go to the Benton-Central, South-Jonathan, and Calvert City-Sharpe centers.
