Local student selected for 2016 Who’s Who

WhosWho.EatonMURRAY, Ky. — The 2016 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges includes several students from Murray State University who have been selected as outstanding campus leaders.

Campus nominating committees and editors of the annual directory choose students based on their academic achievement, service to the community, leadership in extracurricular activities and potential for continued success.

This exclusive honor is conferred by more than 1,000 schools in all 50 states and the District of Columbia and is symbolized by the presentation of an award certificate. Outstanding students have been honored in the directory since it was first published in 1934.

Miriam “Mimi” Eaton from Benton, KY has been selected to the year’s edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Miriam is the daughter of Joe and Marci Eaton and is majoring in Middle School Education with emphases in Science and Social Studies.

Miriam is involved in: President of the College of Education and Human Services Student Ambassadors, Student Government Association Senator for the College of Education and Human Services, Member of the College of Education and Human Services Dean’s Advisory Council, Vice President of Alpha Sigma Alpha, past Secretary for the Kentucky Education Association Student Program, Member of Order of Omega, past G.R.O.W. Mentor for the Murray State Women’s Center, and Member of the Middle Level Association at Murray State University. She is graduating in May of 2017.
