UPDATE
Emergency personnel on site are preparing to close the Northbound Purchase Parkway ramp to I-24 Eastbound at the I-24 Exit 25 Interchange.
Estimated duration of the closure is 3 hours.
Northbound Purchase Parkway traffic seeking to reach I-24 Eastbound should detour via the Purchase Parkway north to US 62 in Calvert City, then turn east on US 62 to access I-24 Eastbound via the Exit 27 interchange.
We have a SEMI crash reported along the Purchase Parkway Northbound ramp to I-24 Eastbound at the I-24 Exit 25 Interchange at Cavlert City.
This crash is along the ramp in the work zone. At this time the ramp is open and the truck is off the roadway. However, the ramp will likely close to allow recovery of the SEMI.
Estimated duration is 2 hours.
We hope to have an update shortly on when the ramp might be closed for recovery work.
Motorists should use appropriate caution where equipment, flaggers, and emergency personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
