DRAFFENVILLE – Marshall County High School kicked off the winter sports season with the annual Meet the Marshals Thursday at Reed Conder Gymnasium following a barbecue dinner held by the Backboard Club.
Introductions were made of the Special Olympics Basketball teams, the MCHS Dance Team performed followed by introductions of the Bass Fishing Team and Archery Team.
The cheerleaders were introduced and performed a floor routine which was followed by introductions of the Lady Marshals and a short inter-squad scrimmage.
The Mountain Bike Team was introduced and honored for their 4th consecutive Tennessee League State Championship and recognition made to the individuals riders who earned state titles.
The Marshals were introduced and held a scrimmage to showcase this year’s team to conclude the evening.
