On November 17, 2016 at 5:57 PM the McCracken County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to a hit and run collision on Reidland Road (US62) in the area of Reidland Clothing. 63 year old Marcia Hughes, of Calvert City, was driving east bound on Reidland Road when she was struck by another vehicle and knocked into the parking lot of Reidland Clothing. Witnesses described the run vehicle as a newer model white four door pickup truck. Witnesses also stated other vehicles were honking at the truck due to his excessive speed and reckless driving.
