Linda Joyce Davis, age 77, of Calvert City, KY, died Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. Mrs. Davis was a retired cashier at Piggly Wiggly and was a member of Faith Apostolic Church. She was the daughter of the late Leroy Solomon and the late Thelma (Henson) Solomon. She was also preceded in death by her first husband: Noah "Pic" Pickens; one son: David Lee Pickens; one daughter: Debbie Elaine Moore; two brothers: William Solomon and Joel Ray Solomon; and three sisters: Gladys McElya, Bertie Story, and Judy Ring. She is survived by her husband: Thomas "Sprout" Davis of Calvert City, KY; three sons: Danial Pickens and wife Alisa of Calvert City, KY, Mark Davis and wife Valerie of Mayfield, KY, David Davis and wife Paula of Benton, KY; three daughters: Mary Belinda Travis of Calvert City, KY, Marilyn Bowman and husband Kevin of Benton, KY, Pat Halicks and husband John of Paducah, KY; grandchildren: Virginia Adams, Kenneth Rodgers, Bradley Cannon, Krystal Pickens, Jessica Walton, Ashley Jackson, Brian Richter, Austin Jackson, Amanda Posey, Elizabeth Bowman, Jordan Pickens, Kelly Halicks, Summer Davis, and Lawson Davis; fifteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY where the family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, November 14, 2016. Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 15, 2016, with Rev. Jimmy Eaves officiating. Interment will be at Dees Cemetery, Calvert City, KY
