Benton City Council Candidate Justin Lamb Receives Support of Carpenter’s Union Local 357

Benton, KY—-Benton City Council candidate Justin Lamb has received the endorsement of the Carpenters Union Local 357.

I am very pleased and honored to have received this support from the hard working members of the Carpenters Union,” Lamb stated. “I was raised in a union household and I will always stand for collective bargaining and organized labor.” This is the second endorsement Lamb has received from organized labor with the first coming from the Iron Worker’s Local 782 last month.

From 2008 until 2015, Lamb worked as an Administrative Assistant in the County Judge/Executive’s office and has been employed at Manley’s Four Little Pigs in Benton since 2007. He is currently attending Murray State University seeking a bachelor’s degree in public relations.

Lamb and his wife Lexie live in the South Benton precinct with their eight-year old nephew, Christopher Thompson and they are active members of Olive United Methodist Church. An avid local historian, Lamb is the author of a weekly local history column on Marshall County Daily and is host of “A Walk in Time” oral history program on Mediacom Channel 8.

The race for Benton City Council will be held on Tuesday, November 8th.
