Mr. Robert Steven "Bob" McLeod, age 60 of Benton, KY passed away Monday, October 17, 2016, at Murray-Calloway Co. Hospital in Murray, KY. Born Wednesday, October 19, 1955 in Hayti, MO, he was the son of the late George Edward McLeod and the late Ruby (Mitchem) McLeod. He was a self-employed as a laborer and was of the Baptist Faith. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Shirley June (Fulks) McLeod of Benton, KY, two daughers, Ruby Pearl McLeod of Benton, KY and June Koon of Kuttawa, KY. He is also survived by four brothers, Buddy McLeod of Princeton, KY, Russell McLeod of Golo, KY, Phillip McLeod of Aurora, KY and Terry Lee McLeod of Benton, KY, sisters, Bethel Henson of Mayfield, KY, Linda Sue McLeod of Smithland, KY, Betty Faye Chastain of Princeton, KY, Wilma Taylor of Calvert City, KY, Mary Lou Thompson of Tilene, KY and Tammy McLeod of Smithland, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Steven McLeod, four brothers, Claude Earl McLeod, George Paul McLeod, Johnny McLeod and Joseph McLeod, sisters, Georgia Faye Miller, Jean Estes, Barbara L. McLeod and Jackie A. McLeod. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 21, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Collier Funeral Home, Benton, KY, Rev. Howard Conner will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Hiett Cemetery, Benton, KY. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016, at Collier Funeral Home, 211 West 5th, Benton, KY.
