On October 7th at approximately 8:11pm, Deputy Luke Rudd was dispatched to I-24 in reference to a possible DUI driver. McCracken County Sheriff’s Office had also received a call on the same vehicle. Deputies from the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office located the vehicle on I-24 at the 23 mile marker and stopped the car. A joint investigation by Deputy Rudd and McCracken Deputies Brock Martin and Derek Pugh resulted in the arrest of Kaylee N. Sidener age 24 of Paducah and charged her with DUI. She was lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
On October 9th at approximately 10:28 am, Deputy Cory Curtner and Trooper David Dick were dispatched to the area of Tom Prather Road. A resident had called and stated that a woman had come to her house and was saying that someone in the creek was trying to kill her. The resident stated that the woman had left with a male in a vehicle prior to officers arrival. Deputy Curtner and Trooper Dick were unable to find the woman or vehicle that left but did go to the creek and check for people there. Deputy Curtner and Trooper Dick found a male and female in the creek. Deputy Curtner reports that the female was manifestly under the influence and admitted using meth. Deputy Curtner charged Michaela Rudolph age 21 of Murray with Public Intoxication – Controlled Substance. Trooper Dick located methamphetamine on the male and arrested him. Both were lodged in the Marshall County Detention Center.
