EVERETT POWELL, 81, of Benton, Kentucky passed away at 2:03PM, Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Marshall County Hospital.
He is survived by his companion of 20 years, Betty Lou Powell of Benton, KY; his children, Ronda Chambers and her husband Bobby of Paducah, KY; Tammi LaManna of Benton, KY; Kaci Powell of Calvert City, KY; Tracey Shackelford of Mayfield, KY; Chris Beeler of Benton, KY; Donna Burgie of Benton, KY; Michael Day of Richmond, KY and Jason Powell of Paducah, KY; several grandchildren including; Justis LaManna, Ellie Chambers, Emily Chambers, John Chambers and Karsyn Serpico; and three sisters, Janice Duncan of Murray, KY; Willie Mae Taylor of Benton, KY and Lucille Young of Benton, KY.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Mildred Parrott, Dorothy Holland and Julia Ann Ross and six brothers, Raymond Powell, William Powell, Alton Powell, Cecil Lee Powell, Billy Ray Powell and Robert Lee Powell, Jr. His parents were Robert Lee Powell and Lillie Leta Farley Powell.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Burgie Family Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00AM until the funeral hour Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
