Wilma Jackson

Mrs. Wilma Gentry Jackson, age 82 of Benton, KY passed away Sunday, September 11,
2016, at St. Thomas Hospital-West in Nashville, TN.

Born Tuesday, December 12, 1933 in Madisonville, KY, she was the daughter of the
late Joe B. Gentry and the late Lizzie (Qualls) Gentry. She was the wife of the late
Link Jackson.

Surviving are sons, Terry Jackson of Vanceboro, NC and Ricky Jackson of Richardson,
TX. Also surviving are four grandchildren; David Jackson of Dayton, OH, Brian
Jackson of Denver, CO, Mark Jackson of Seattle, WA and Katie Jackson Jefferys of
Dallas, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and by her brother, Chester
Gentry.

A celebration of her life will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday,
September 17, 2016, at Benton First United Methodist Church, 845 U.S. Hwy 641 Spur,
Benton, KY.

Inurnment will follow at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the Slaughters
Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Slaughters, KY.

The family ask that memorial contributions be made to the Benton First United
Methodist Church Benevolence Fund, 845 U.S. Hwy 641 Spur, Benton, KY 42025.
