LOWELL DEAN ULRICH, 83, of Hardin, Kentucky passed away at 2:15PM Friday, August 26, 2016 at Murray Calloway County Hospital.
Lowell retired from Caterpillar where he worked in machine repair maintenance. After his retirement he became a fishing guide, enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He was of the Methodist faith. Lowell was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Lou Turner Ulrich of Hardin, KY; two daughters, Pam Ulrich of Benton, KY and Diann Gamble and husband Tim of Benton, KY; one son, Kenneth Ulrich of Hardin, KY; five grandchildren, James Dean Tucker of Lexington, KY; Justin Ulrich of Calvert City, KY; Cody Green of Hardin, KY; Lesley Nevenzel and Lindsay Cassetto both of North Carolina; three great grandchildren, Landon Ulrich and Leora Ulrich both of Calvert City, KY and Gabriella Tucker of Lexington, KY and one brother, Paul Ulrich of Evansville, IN.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Welker, Lorene Miller and Freda Fife and two brothers, Omer Ulrich and Ivan Ulrich. His parents were John Henry Ulrich and Verna Ruth Roberts Ulrich.
Funeral services will be at 1:00PM on Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home. Friends may call from 11:00AM until the funeral hour Monday, August 29, 2016 at Filbeck-Cann & King Funeral Home.
