Christian Fellowship School’s golf team opened their regular season on August 9th at Dawson Springs in a three-team match that was rained out after 6 holes.
Friday, August 12th, the team played in the Region 1 All “A” Golf Tournament at Silo’s. The CFS boys finished 8th out of eight teams with a combined score of 456 with scoring coming from Gavin Cypret 109, Elijah Toth 114, Logan Draffen 115 and Jordan Vaughn 117. Maddie Ortt, the only girl on this year’s team for CFS, finished 4th in the individual qualifier with a 95.
Saturday at the Paducah Tilghman Invitational at Paxton Park CFS did not post a team score but individual results came from Gavin Cypret 94, Jordan Vaughn 98 and Elijah Toth 105. Maddie Ortt carded an 86.
CFS is scheduled to play today (August 16) against Hickman County at Oakhill Country Club and Thursday at Calvert City Country Club against Crittenden County.
