Golf teams split match against Graves County

The Boys and Girls golf teams were in action yesterday at Kentucky Dam Village Golf course against Graves County. On the boys side the Marshals came away with a 2 stroke victory 165 to Graves 167. Jay Nimmo tied for medalist honors with Graves Jake Morgan each shooting 38’s. Quinn Eaton was next with a 4 over 40 followed Tyler Powell 43. Garret Howell shot 44 to round out the team score. Other Marshal scores were Grant Hackney 45, Drew Puteet 46, Nathan Clark 49, Drake Butler 55, Nick Dowdy 60 and Ben Staples 67.

The Lady Marshals lost their match by 3 strokes to Graves County 176 to 173. Hallie Riley was medalist with a 40. Savannah Howell shot 43 and Megan Hertter added a 46. Kennadi Spraggs rounded out the team score with a 47.

Other Lady Marshals scores were Kenley Luksic 55 and Laney Hoskins 60.

Up next the Marshals will compete in the Paducah Invitational this Saturday and the Lady Marshals travel to Franklin Ky. to play In the Lady Spartan Invitational.
