On Wednesday August 3rd at 10:18 a.m. Deputy Steven Oakley responded to KY1422 in reference to an accident with injuries. Dana M. Grass 40, of Paducah, was coming around a curve when her load shifted causing her to run off the roadway and overcorrect. Grass then overturned onto her drivers side coming to rest in the roadway. Grass was transported to Lourdes Hospital by Marshall County EMS to be treated for her injuries.
On Wednesday August 3rd at 11:41 a.m. Deputy Steven Oakley responded to US 62 in reference to an accident with injuries. Charles A. Lofton 72, of Calvert City, was traveling on Vaughns Chapel Road on a tractor while Norma J. Barker 77, of Kuttawa, was traveling westbound on US 62. Lofton attempted to cross US 62 and came into the path of Barkers vehicle. Barker was transported by Marshall County EMS to Western Baptist Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
On Wednesday August 3rd at 1:55 p.m. Deputy Steven Oakley responded to KY 1422 in reference to a single vehicle accident with injuries. Janis F. Skabo 48, of Gilbertsville, was traveling southbound on KY 1422 when she ran off the right hand shoulder crossing a ditch and overturning coming to rest in a ditch. Skabo was transported by Marshall County EMS to Marshall County Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
On Wednesday August 3rd at 2:50 p.m. Deputy Steven Oakley responded to US 68 W in reference to a single vehicle accident with injuries. Olivia R. Schrecengost 18, of Benton, was traveling eastbound on US 68 W when she came around a curve and lost control. The vehicle went off the roadway into a ditch striking a culvert when the vehicle went air born overturning a couple of times. Schrecengost was transported by Marshall County EMS to Lourdes Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
