On 07-14-16, detectives with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office received information of marijuana plants growing next to a residence on Eggners Ferry Road in Marshall County. Detective Sergeant Kevin Mighell and Capt. Edwards with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office went to the area to investigate the drug tip. Deputies located 5 marijuana plants in pots in the woods next to the residence. Detectives collected evidence at the scene. The matter is still under investigation. Charges on suspects are pending Kentucky State Police lab analysis of evidence.
