AURORA – This year Twilight Theatre celebrates 50 years of theatre in Western Kentucky with “Under the Devine Elm”, a poetic journey about the pioneer women of Kentucky.
A historic look at the women who pioneered Kentucky with their families, and how they survived indian raids and harsh conditions. The women who fought in the civil war and stood up to racism and equality for all.
The women of Kentucky were not just pioneers in the early days but continue today in education, politics, science and technology.
Under the divine elm is dedicated to the pioneers of tomorrow.
