The Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association has announced the All Area 1 first and second teams and Class 3A first and second teams for the 2016 Track and Field season.
The Marshals and Lady Marshals had six selected to the 1st Team All Area 1 and nine selected to 2nd Team All Area 1. Area 1 Girls Coach of the Year is Mark Boggess from Murray and Boy’s Coach of the Year is Tilghman’s Randy Wyatt.
Sixteen athletes and relay teams made the Class 3A first team and 17 were selected to the Class 3A second team. Marshall County’s Jared Rosa was named Class 3A Boy’s Coach of the Year and Fred Sowerby from Hopkinsville the Class 3A Girl’s Coach of the Year.
