After a round of severe thunderstorms Monday night, there is a slight risk that another round of severe weather could occur today.
The National Storm Prediction Center says that scattered severe thunderstorms are possible across the lower Ohio and middle Mississippi valleys. Hail and wind are possible in all areas, and forecasters point out a slight risk of a tornado or two possible across the Ohio Valley.
Any severe weather threat should diminish late in the evening.
Scattered thunderstorms are forecast again Wednesday through Thursday evening, and then again Sunday evening through Monday.
