
Keagin Brooks, a Marshall County 8th grader, is currently ranked 1st in Kentucky in the Turbo-Javelin with a throw of 109-3 at Friday’s Twilight Relays at Marshall County High School. That mark also ranks 1st in the nation in the Turbo-Javelin. Keagin also holds the top spot in Kentucky among Middle School throwers in Turbo-Javelin with 116-1 which also ranks her 1st in the nation in Middle School rankings.
Keagin also holds the top spot among Middle School track athletes in the discus with a throw of 91-2 set at the March 24th Tri-meet at Murray.
Jordan Ray holds the top spot in the state in the 2K Steeplechase with a time of 8:45.64 set at the Racer Relays.
In Class 3A Regional 1 standings, Collin Gunn is ranked 1st in the 1600, Jackson Brown in the 110 and 300 hurdles, the boy’s 4 x 400 relay, Drey Reed in the high jump, Sydney Nelson in the shot put, Jordyn in the steeplechase and Keagin in both the javelin and turbo-javelin.
Kyle McClain ranks 1st among 9th grade boys in Kentucky in the steeplechase.
Samuel Lanham currently ranks 1st in middle school state rankings in the 3200 with 11:12.55 and among 6th graders across the state ranks 1st in the 1600.
Marshall Middle’s 4 x 800 relay team ranks 1st with a time of 9:24.07.
Cade Flatt ranks 1st in the 800 meters among 6th grade boys with a time of 2:20.48 and ranks 1st among 6th graders in the high jump. Kylie Jones takes the top spot among 6th grade girls in the discus and Maci Brown 1st among 7th grade girls in the discus.
